To Login Type your Plix dial-up (not your email address) username and password. (All lower-case.) Click OK

Remember a new Plix Accelerator Icon will appear in your system tray:

The Accelerator is Standing-by

The Accelerator is Disabled

The Accelerator is busy transmitting and compressing data

The Accelerator is Activated

As the Accelerator detects when you are connected to the Internet

Look for the screen below to appear:

Adjust the Accelerator by right clicking the icon in the system tray.

(Lower right of your desktop by the time.) You'll see the following menu:

Left Click Settings

The first option "Image Quality" allows you to adjust the speed of the Accelerator

The more acceleration the less Image quality. Adjust this to your liking.

(If you want to see a picture or pictures on a website at original quality,

you don't need to adjust the accelerator settings! SEE BELOW)

Click on the Email tab

To enable Acceleration for Email, Click Enable for all applications

Click OK

Back to the Accelerator menu. Right click the icon in the system tray.

(Lower right of your desktop by the time.)

Left Click Pop-Up Blocker

You can enable, disable and adjust the pop-up blocker here. "Pop-up blocker"

is a built in pop-up stopper that you can adjust to your preferences.

Keep in mind that if a site you are visiting has a lot of pop-up ads, then there will be
some delay in the page loading as the accelerator processes and stops the pop-ups.
The accelerator isn't slowing the page, but rather stopping the pop-up ads is.

(If you have a lot of pop-up ads on any page you visit, or your homepage seems

to change on it's own, then you should contact Internet Xpress technical support

as you may have some sort of spyware or malware on your computer.)

If you want to see a picture or pictures on a website at original quality,

you don't need to adjust the accelerator settings!

Simply right click the image and left click "Show Original Image" for a single image

or left click "Show all Original Images" to see all pictures on a page at original quality.
