| 1. Open “Control Panel” from the desktop… Double click on the modem’s icon to open the status window. Make sure the modem is installed and the power light is on. |

2. Hold down the ALT key while hitting the letter “P” key. The following screen should appear, although yours, should show connection and data transfer if connected |

| 3. Click on the “Protocol Setup” tab to access the VCI/VPI screen. | |
 |
|
| 4. Click inside the Virtual Path Identifier-VPI white box. Change the number 0 to 8. The Virtual Circuit Identfier-VCI stays at 35. Click on the “Apply” button, then on the “OK” button. Shutdown the computer and turn the power off briefly then power up for the changes to take effect. | |
