Setting Vista Windows Mail to Check Your Internet Xpress Email

It's a good idea to have your Internet Xpress  Account Information handy when you follow these setup instructions.

1.       Click on the Start Button and go to E-mail (Windows Mail)

2.       Enter the Email Address from your Account Information


Click Next

3.       Enter the following:
My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server: mail.plix.com, mail.plixtel.com, or mail.ultraplix.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server: smtp.plix.com, mail.plixtel.com or smtp.ultraplix.com


Click Next

4.       Enter the following:
Account name:your E-Mail Account/For Plix POP Username from your Account Information—Ultraplix and plixtel accounts use complete e-mail address. 
Password: your E-Mail Account/POP Password


 

5.       Click Next

6.       Click Finish
